i just found out i could go ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE in canada for 12 days on $461 canadian! i'm so excited. i love via rail...

i went wandering around town today for a total of four hours and got three necklaces, three hair clips, two shirts, an anklet, a toe ring, three chocolate bars and a book called *ahemHenryahem* "Your God is too Safe". the wandering was fun. the buying was fun too. but then there's the post-buying syndrome where you wish you didn't spend quite so much money. if i go on this way i'll never have enough to go anywhere this summer.

I found this church today that was near-ish downtown, just beautiful gothic style architecture. it looks so very out of place just off st. catherine's where the urban grind goes on. reminds me of some old keepsake shoved onto a shelf and left to dust up and mold. sad really...there are so many of these around town. maybe what i'll do this summer is make a scrapbook to document all of them, photos, sketches and all. sounds like a project...a fun one that gives me an excuse to do some more wandering.

oh no, someone just called me the *a* word...adorable...sorry, gotta go beat them with a stick. *sigh* if i can catch them that is...
